12.2: French Bulldog Puppy Apocalypse

It could happen, people.

Season Two continues with a special guest, and a new “Day in History” segment which Dan described as “a train wreck… but it’s short!” Also we go on for awhile about Lisa Loeb, which, can you believe that hasn’t happened yet?

10.2: Truman Capote’s Seance For Sexy Singles

Special holiday weekend edition! In Cold Blood might be the best book ever written, but it’s nothing compared to the Capote’s major life work: The Black and White Ball. We had an audience with Capote’s departed spirit (he’s a friend of Mike’s, apparently) and asked several pressing questions.

The plague of airplanes continues unabated, and the fellows huddle indoors, where they are visited by an illustrator from a celebrated magazine.

A Very Special Episode: What A Fed We Have in Fed

Federico Garduno was married recently, and Dan, who is prone to fits of sentimentality, marked the occasion by putting together a Very Special Episode as a tribute to his friend of many years. Brian was enraged, and submitted his own anti-Fed podcast, a rebuttal, he claimed, in the interest of “equal time.” Upon review of that six-hour program (mostly consisting of Brian flecking a microphone with froth as he railed against people whose names end in vowels, and their affect upon local economies) the rebuttal was rejected for publication in this space.

So without further ado, we present A Very Special Episode: What a Fed We Have in Fed.

5.2: Dan’s Seal Never Heals

This episode is largely about the television shows that the fellows enjoyed as children in the seventies. Special guests include Kate Bush, Celine Dion, Morrissey, and the ghost of John Lennon.

4.2: A Baffled Spaniard

The fellows are visited by a Midwestern dream vampire, and then offer aid and succor to a confused gentleman of European descent. They seemed to have recovered their footing somewhat, but by the end Dan has used the word “pronunciate,” Fed has been diagnosed as a sociopath, and Brian is still wistfully rambling about Shelly Long. Please remember, when judging the quality of this audio product, that Dan Wakes Up Screaming is offered to the public free of charge.
